Christmas Eve 

Well today is Christmas Eve and it's really just another ordinary day were just sitting here watching Christmas movies and being bored. My daughter came down with the flu last night after spending time over my sisters where my sister and my niece were ill. So the family that stays together gets sick together. 
I guess Christmas is special for people who have large families. 
But for people like us it's just really not that special. Don't get me wrong we did get my daughter the present she wanted which was the samsung chrome book to which I am happily demonstrating as we type. 
I must admit it is way better typing than my Ipad or my huge laptop. I might have to take over this little toy, of course when she's not using it of course.

I know I must sound like the grinch what with Christmas and all but I just dont see christmas as everyone else does. I think it must come from my religious background. 
At the age of twelve years old we were basically raised with a Jehovah witness religion to which we never celebrated Christmas or any other holidays. My mom said we did when I was very young  when my father was around. My parents divorced when I was 11. 

So as far as christmas goes I dont have any memory of it.

My first husband really was into christmas so I got the chance to get involved in the holiday spirit but being raised as a Jehovahs witness I always carried this concience that it was bad.

I think we all know that Jesus was not born on Christmas, but I dont see the wrong in reuniting families together because really thats what its all about right?
